Interested applicants can apply through the following graduate programs UNC Biology and BBSP.

UNC undergraduates

We welcome undergraduate students working in the Hoi Polloi lab. We are always looking for UNC students interested in host-microbe interactions. Students in our lab work on our insect-pathogen and plant-microbe systems. Several of our students to date have sucessfully completed honors thesis projects in the lab. We recruit students for paid or research credit positions, and through work-study programs.

Please reach out to Senay Yitbarek at senay[at]unc.edu for open positions in the lab. Please provide your CV and a short statement on your research interests and goals.
